Education & early career

Christopher grew up in Napa, California before putting down roots in Southern California, where he raised his family. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Occidental College in 1993 — where he competed in varsity football, rugby, and lacrosse — he spent four years in sales and management before enrolling at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2001, graduating in the top 10% of his division and as a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society, one of Loyola\'s most prestigious academic distinctions.

Over his 23-year legal career, he has conducted over 2,000 bench trials — more than 350 of them in probate court — and has prevailed in over 95% of those cases, recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients. That depth of probate litigation experience is extraordinarily rare, and it informs every aspect of how First Heritage Funding evaluates estates, assesses risk, and structures advances for heirs.

Structured finance & First Heritage Funding

Since founding Catalina Structured Funding and Pacific Structured Assets in 2010, Christopher has overseen the acquisition and management of structured settlement and future receivable transactions across the country, working alongside SVP of Operations & In-House Counsel Evan Chait to build one of the most legally sophisticated teams in the industry. He continues to maintain an active litigation practice through MiltonLaw, where he focuses on individualized cases where he believes he can truly make a difference for his clients.
